Ontario Realtors spoke out against a land transfer tax.
Challenge
The Ontario government proposed a legislative change to allow all municipalities in the province to be able to apply land transfer taxes. The Ontario Real Estate Association needed an integrated solution to allow real estate agents and other supporters to quickly speak out on the issue.
Solution
Working with OREA and their design vendor, our team provided a completely integrated advocacy platform to guide realtors and supporters of OREA’s position to take action.
Highlights
Powered by OREA’s strong advocacy plan and tens of thousands of realtors committed to speaking out about this proposed legislative change, the “Don’t Tax My Dream” campaign was successful in halting the expansion of land transfer taxes at the municipal level.
The campaign also won an ACE Award from the Canadian Public Relations Society.
